Senator Marco Rubio Hopes UFO are alien aircraft

In the United States, during the Republican debates for the next American presidential elections, few candidates have dared to raise the thorny subject of UFOs.

One of the presidential favorites, Marco Rubio, was quick to talk about it. The current Florida state senator comments:

We have things flying over our military bases and places where we’re conducting military exercises and we don’t know what it is and it isn’t ours. Frankly, if it’s something outside this planet that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some sort of technological leap from the Chinese or Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity. That to me is a national security risk and one we should be looking into.

On June 2020, the senator had requested that the director of national intelligence produce a detailed report with all the information that the country's agencies had been able to collect on the UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

Recently, Mr. Rubio gave an interview to CBS News reporter Jim DeFede. He asked her the question “Are we alone?. He has answered:

I’ve seen reports on this now for the better part of a decade. Other countries have had similar reports and so, but for our perspective is, there is someone flying in the airspace that no one else is allowed to fly in and we don’t know who it is and it isn’t something we have. We need to know what that is.

Rubio continues:

If we can't figure out what it is, then it's a fact.

Rubio says he's been studying these reports for a decade. Former Senator Harry Reid had also considered them for a long time. He had launched the “Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program” project. This program was used to study UFOs from 2007 to 2012. The AATI had also examined material allegedly of extraterrestrial origin. The Democratic Senator from Nevada explained:

After looking into this, I came to the conclusion that there were reports — some were substantive, some not so substantive — that there were actual materials that the government and the private sector had in their possession.

During the 2016 presidential elections, Hillary Clinton also spoke about these unexplained phenomena.
