A local resident claims to have witnessed a mysterious aerial event alongside her 9-year-old son while driving toward Valcartier on Saturday evening.
According to her account, it was 8:58 PM when she suddenly noticed six extremely bright white lights hovering above a nearby mountain. “We were driving, just me and my son, when I saw these very clear lights in the sky. I told him to look, and he saw them too,” she explained.
Curious and unsettled, she pulled over to get a better look. She describes seeing five of the lights moving, while one remained completely stationary. Moments later, the five moving lights vanished abruptly, and the stationary light disappeared instantly right after.
The entire event happened very quickly, leaving no time for her to take a photo. “It happened so fast… I didn’t even have time to grab my phone,” she added.
This sighting adds to a growing number of similar reports in the Jacques-Cartier region, which has often been considered a hotspot for unexplained aerial activity. No official aircraft activity was reported in the area at the time by Transport Canada or the Department of National Defence, but the incident once again raises questions about the nature of such luminous phenomena.
