On November 29, 2022, at approximately 11:45 PM, a couple of business professionals reported witnessing an unidentified flying object (UFO) of triangular shape for around 30 seconds. The incident occurred as they were driving back from a dinner in Palo Alto, CA to their home in Napa, taking the CA29 route.
According to the witnesses, the object had three white lights arranged in a triangular pattern at its corners. It followed the road in the same direction as their travel before abruptly veering off to the left. No sound was heard emanating from the object, which quickly disappeared after making this maneuver. The witnesses noted that the lights were located at the corners of the craft and were white, with no red or green port or starboard lighting visible. The craft itself appeared dark in color.
The wife managed to capture two pictures of the UFO using her iPhone from inside the car. While the image quality is not optimal, the lights and triangular shape of the object are discernible.
It is worth mentioning that the male witness is a former naval officer, lending him some expertise in recognizing airborne objects. The couple emphasized that it was the unusual characteristics of the object, such as its triangular shape, the presence of white lights at the corners, and its dark appearance, that caught their attention.
Although the sighting took place in close proximity to an airport, the witnesses asserted that the lighting, shape, and size of the object distinguished it from conventional aircraft.
The nature of this event remains unexplained, and it is possible that other witnesses in the area may have also observed this UFO. Investigators specializing in unidentified aerial phenomena may closely examine this sighting in an attempt to provide answers.
