On February 27th, 2023 at 12:15 AM, a bright hovering disk was spotted in the wooded area behind a neighbor's house in Rosedale, MD. The sighting lasted for five minutes and was reported at 9:47 PM on February 26th, 2023. The incident was then posted online on March 6th, 2023.
According to the witness, the object was too low to be an aircraft and was located in between trees. The light was initially white but then had a purple light in the shape of a sling underneath at one point. The disk was vibrating, and beams of light appeared to be passing to the ground. The witness went to get their phone to take a picture, but after turning off all the lights in their house, the object disappeared before they could go back outside. The object was observed from two windows before it vanished.
The characteristics of the object included lights, an aura or haze around it, emitted beams, and changed color. The witness described the sighting as a bright disk-shaped object that appeared to be hovering in the wooded area.
This sighting is one of many reported sightings of unidentified flying objects in recent years. While some dismiss these sightings as hoaxes or misidentifications of conventional aircraft, others believe they could be evidence of extraterrestrial life visiting our planet. The Rosedale sighting remains unexplained, leaving many to speculate on the nature of the object and its origins.
