On February 4, 2025, an intriguing report was submitted to the NUFORC (National UFO Reporting Center) describing an unusual sighting in the skies of the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic. A driver reported seeing an unidentified flying object (UFO) in the shape of a glowing circle, sparking questions and speculation among enthusiasts of unexplained aerial phenomena.
According to the witness, the incident occurred around 6:40 PM local time while driving near Hodonín, a town close to Mutěnice. As they were driving down the road, their attention was drawn to a faint bluish glow to their left. Intrigued, they slowed down to get a better look at the object, which appeared to hover at a very low altitude.
"At first, I thought it was a helicopter, but I quickly realized something was off," the witness stated. "The object was too silent, too slow, and far too large to be a helicopter. It made no sound at all, which was really strange."
The object, described as a circle approximately 10 to 20 meters in diameter, emitted a bluish glow and seemed surrounded by an aura or haze. The witness estimated that the object was between 20 and 50 meters away, with an elevation angle of 87 degrees. According to their observations, the object also appeared to be spinning.
"I stopped my car and got out to get a better look. It lasted about 30 seconds, but it was both fascinating and a little frightening," they added.
The witness also noted that the object moved slowly, at an estimated speed of around 10 units (unspecified), and flew just above the treetops. Despite the object's proximity, the witness reported no physical or auditory effects, aside from the light emitted by the UFO.
This sighting quickly caught the attention of ufologists and researchers of aerial phenomena. Although the report comes from a single observer, the details provided—such as the circular shape, bluish color, lack of sound, and luminous aura—align with many UFO descriptions reported worldwide.
