15th October 1991 - Detection of the Oh-My-God particle

On October 15, 1991, an exceptional cosmic event took place. On that day, scientists detected the "Oh-My-God" particle (OMG), a high-energy cosmic ray of paramount importance. The OMG was likely a proton with an extraordinarily high energy, surpassing all known subatomic particles by a wide margin.

The speed of the OMG particle was estimated to be 0.999 999 999 999 999 999 999 995 times the speed of light, making it the fastest massive particle ever recorded. This discovery occurred at 13 hours, 34 minutes, and 16 seconds, thanks to the HiRes cosmic ray detector located at the Dugway Proving Ground in Utah, United States.

The OMG carried a phenomenal amount of energy, measured at 50 joules, which is several tens of millions of times more energy than subatomic particles accelerated in the Large Hadron Collider. Although other particles with considerable energies have been detected subsequently, including a 32-joule particle on December 3, 1993, and another carrying 23 joules on January 13, 2007, the record set by the OMG remains unmatched. However, statistically, it is possible that other high-energy cosmic rays arriving on Earth may exceed the energy of the OMG particle.

Scientists have put forth several hypotheses to explain the existence of the OMG particle, as well as the cosmic rays exceeding 1 × 10^20 electronvolts (eV). Possible sources include black holes, especially those at the center of galaxies, galaxy collisions, and the shockwaves they generate, as well as magnetars. These sources are believed to act as particle accelerators, imparting tremendous energies to these particles.

Another theory considered is that the OMG particle was not accelerated but emitted. In this scenario, the emission mechanism could be linked to cosmic phenomena, such as the collapse of a topological defect like a cosmic string, or even the decay of a hypothetical supermassive particle called the "wimpzilla." However, it is important to note that despite these hypotheses, no definitive explanation has been demonstrated to date.

Moon-Sized UFOs Spotted Near the Sun

A remarkable discovery was made on April 8, 2022, thanks to the diligent work of YouTuber In2ThinAir. Using NASA/SOHO's sun viewer, he spotted astonishing anomalies that bear striking similarities to what one might imagine alien spacecraft would look like. These findings are truly extraordinary: a spiral-like space station and a gigantic cube, both revealing astonishing levels of detail with minimal light enhancement to make them more visible.

The history of researching Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) near the sun dates back about 17 years when two Russian researchers published a startling article claiming to have found numerous moon-sized UFOs whizzing around our star at the speed of light. These objects were making sudden directional changes and executing hard right turns, maneuvers that should be impossible for any natural entity in space. This article quickly disappeared from the media a few weeks after publication, and so did the two scientists behind the revelation. Nonetheless, one person continued to closely monitor strange objects near our sun, utilizing tools such as Helioviewer.org.

The recent findings presented by In2ThinAir provide indisputable evidence that the Russian scientists were correct. Moon-sized objects do indeed orbit our star. The mystery of their origin and purpose remains, but these remarkable images shed undeniable light on their existence.

Scott C. Waring, a dedicated researcher in the field of UFO studies, emphasizes the significance of these findings for the scientific community and the general public. These images, captured using state-of-the-art technology, bolster the hypothesis that unknown objects exist within our solar system, challenging the laws of physics as we currently understand them.

While these observations cannot yet be conclusively explained, they certainly encourage further research and investigation into this fascinating phenomenon. The quest to understand these mysterious objects and their implications for our understanding of the universe continues. Stay tuned for more exciting developments in the field of UFO research.

13th October 1917 - The 6th and Final Marian Apparition at Fátima

13th October 1917 - The 6th and Final Marian Apparition at Fátima

October 13, 1917, is a significant date in the history of the Marian apparitions at Fátima, a small village in Portugal. This event is marked by the sixth and final appearance of the Virgin Mary to three young shepherds, accompanied by an extraordinary celestial phenomenon known as the "Miracle of the Sun." This day left an indelible mark on the collective memory of believers and the curious alike, generating a multitude of testimonies and substantial media coverage.

The meteorological context of this day is particularly noteworthy. Despite weather forecasts predicting dry conditions, a thunderstorm erupted, and heavy rain poured down on the Cova da Iria, where approximately fifty thousand people had gathered to witness the event. Some pilgrims recited the rosary, while others watched, huddled beneath umbrellas. Some had arrived the day before and spent the night on-site, demonstrating their devotion to this sacred place. On this date, the "little oak tree," an important symbol associated with the apparitions, had been stripped of its branches by the faithful, leaving only a ten-centimeter trunk. The "apparition site" was marked by a wooden arch adorned with lanterns and flower bouquets.

Shortly before noon, solar time, the three "visionaries," Lucie, Francisco, and Jacinta, arrived at the site, and the crowd allowed them to pass. A few minutes after the scheduled time, Lucie announced, "The lady is coming," and asked the crowd to close their umbrellas and remove their hats. Despite the persistent rain, a large part of the crowd complied with her request. Suddenly, witnesses claimed to have seen a "small cloud" form and position itself over the location of the "apparition oak." It was at this moment that the apparition of the Virgin Mary purportedly appeared to Lucie, introducing herself as Our Lady of the Rosary and asking her to build a chapel in her honor. The Virgin also expressed a desire for sinners to convert.

While the Virgin was slowly ascending toward the sky, the rain abruptly ceased, and the sun made a remarkable appearance. "Almost all the people present" reported observing the sun undergo a series of astonishing transformations, displaying colors ranging from pink to blue, green to "all the colors of the rainbow," according to some witnesses. The sun appeared to rotate in the sky, then "plunge towards the earth," causing panic among the crowd, before returning to its position in the sky. Some accounts even mentioned witnesses seeing the Virgin Mary alone or in the company of the Child Jesus during this celestial spectacle.

After the conclusion of the celestial phenomenon, Lucie announced to the crowd that "the Virgin" had promised that the war would soon end, and the soldiers would return home. She also revealed "the Virgin's" request to construct a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary at the site of the apparitions.

The significance of this event cannot be understated. Avelino de Almeida, an anticlerical journalist and editor-in-chief of the Lisbon daily "O Século," wrote a report on the event in the October 15 edition, causing a sensation throughout the country. Fifteen days later, he published a new article with ten photos in "Ilustração Portugueza," preserving the memory of this extraordinary event. Numerous newspaper articles were published, with many readers sharing their testimonies of "what they had seen." Simultaneously, other articles, at times more critical or even ironic, also surfaced, reflecting the diversity of opinions on this mystical event.

The Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917, remains a subject of debate, adoration, and fascination for many, whether they are believers or not. This day continues to inspire faith and spirituality, serving as a reminder of an extraordinary moment when the heavens and the earth appeared to converge in an unforgettable celestial union.

Witnesses observe rectangular UFO in the United States

Witnesses observe rectangular UFO in the United States

On September 1st at around 9pm, two witnesses were observing the sky from the Brown Mountains overlook in North Carolina when they spotted a mysterious object...

In their testimony later filed on the NUFORC (National UFO Reporting Center) website, the two observers said they saw for about 2 minutes a rectangular object slowly moving among the clouds.

Bright green in color, it was emitting a uniform light around its entire outline, as if composed of windows. Despite moving through the clouds, its shape remained identifiable. The witnesses describe it as "translucent" rather than a solid mass.

Coming from the northwest, it headed east in a smooth and silent manner, with no sign of propulsion. Estimated to be at an altitude of 10,000 feet, it made no audible sounds.

While unidentified for now, its intriguing behavior raises questions about the nature of this observation made at Brown Mountains. New witnesses are encouraged to come forward to help understand the nature of this craft that piqued the curiosity of the two onlookers.
