Chevron-Shaped UFO Sighted in Destin, Florida

On the early morning of October 2, 2024, a resident of Destin, Florida, had a startling and unexplained encounter with what he describes as a "huge chevron-shaped craft." The testimony, reported to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), has drawn attention due to the clarity and sincerity of the observer.

The Incident

At approximately 12:57 a.m. local time, the witness, standing on the front porch of his house, suddenly looked up and saw an unusual object in the sky. According to his account, the craft was massive—"the size of four houses." It had a triangular or V-shaped form and emitted a bright orange glow.

Description of the Object

The object crossed the sky swiftly, taking only a few seconds to pass by. The witness noted that it was quite close during the first sighting but farther away the second time he saw it. After its initial pass over his house, the object appeared again, farther out, its light dimmer as it moved towards the ocean. The angle of the object in the sky was about 45 degrees, indicating it was flying relatively low. But most notably, the craft was completely silent. This total absence of sound left a lasting impression on the observer.

A Shocking Experience

The witness, clearly shaken by the event, adamantly states that he is not "the kind of person who believes in UFOs." He is resolute in his description, emphasizing that what he saw was a mechanical craft and not a natural phenomenon or illusion. “This wasn’t a military prototype or a drone. It was totally silent, covering a large distance at a tremendous speed,” he stresses.

After seeing the object, the witness felt compelled to check if it was some sort of military aircraft by contacting local authorities. However, he seems convinced that what he saw was not something known or ordinary.
