A motorist has reported observing an unidentified flying object (UFO) during their daily commute between Adana and Mersin. The witness, who remains anonymous, submitted their testimony on the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) website on January 29, 2022.
According to the report, the incident occurred on January 24, 2022, at approximately 7:45 AM. The observer described seeing a dark oval-shaped object of considerable size flying at an extremely high speed. Compared to a passenger aircraft, the object appeared much larger. The weather conditions were wet, and the sky was cloudy at the time of the sighting.
The object was swiftly moving through the clouds, traveling from north to south. This allowed the witness to catch glimpses of it for brief periods, lasting between two to five seconds. Intrigued, the witness decided to stop their car and attempt to capture the object on video. Unfortunately, it disappeared into the dark clouds before they could film it. The object had a dark color and did not exhibit any visible lights. Its shape and behavior did not match that of a military or commercial aircraft.
"I am very familiar with the types of planes one can observe in this area, and this object was completely different," the witness stated in their testimony.
NUFORC, founded in 1974, is dedicated to collecting, analyzing, and sharing UFO sighting reports. The reports submitted on their website are carefully examined and undergo rigorous evaluation.
